Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester to protect communities, power delivery and the planet through outdoor vegetation management.

You will work directly with utility clients, owners, and contractors to ensure safe, sustainable practices across diverse landscapes. The role emphasizes field inventories, hazard assessments, data collection, and planning work for contractors, with travel as needed and strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field or experience in utility line clearance.
• ISA Arborist Certification within 12 months of offer is preferred.
• Proficient in map navigation and data collection software (GIS a plus).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners & public agencies regarding pruning/removals.
• Conduct tree/brush inventories and hazard inspections.
• Plan work for tree contractors and manage field data.
• Verify data accuracy across databases and ensure reporting reflects datasets.
• Ensure safety of employees and the public in work areas.
