Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field or equivalent experience in utility line clearance.
• ISA Arborist Certification within 12 months of offer.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and ability to travel.
• Proficiency with GIS, Office tools and data collection software.
• Strong communication skills and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners and public agencies regarding pruning/removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories.
• Perform hazard tree inspections and evaluations.
• Plan work for tree contractors and crews.
• Collect and manage field data (species, size, distance from conductors).
• Validate data across databases and ensure accurate reporting.
• Ensure safety of employees and the public at work sites.
• Enforce on-the-job safety practices and use of equipment.
• Maintain and service trucks and equipment.
