Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. recruits a Consulting Utility Forester to work outdoors, coordinating with utility clients, property owners and contractors for safe vegetation management. You will perform inventories, planning, and data collection in diverse landscapes, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes field work, data reporting, and collaboration with teams across departments to deliver reliable vegetation management services nationwide.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field or related experience.
• Species identification and invasive species knowledge; tree growth rates.
• ISA Certification possible within 12 months after offer; valid driver’s license.
• Strong verbal and written communications; ability to travel and work in rugged terrain.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners and agencies regarding pruning/removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories; plan work for contractors.
• Gather field data including species, size and distance from conductors.
• Verify data in databases and ensure accurate reporting.
• Enforce on-the-job safety and protect workers and the public.
