Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. is hiring a Consulting Utility Forester to work outdoors with utility clients, property owners, and contractors to ensure safe, sustainable vegetation management. The role emphasizes safety, data collection, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Experience with tree and vegetation management and ISA certification timeline.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners & public agencies regarding pruning/removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories.
• Perform hazard tree inspections and evaluations.
• Plan work for tree contractors.
• Gather and manage field data including species, size, distance from conductors.
• Validate data across databases for reporting accuracy.
• Ensure safety of employees and the public.
• Enforce on-the-job safety practices.
• Maintain service trucks and equipment.
