Job summary

Orvis in Houston is seeking a Retail Guide to be on the front line, outfitting customers for outdoor adventures and creating a welcoming store atmosphere. You will work alongside the Store Manager and Lead Retail Guide to educate customers and serve as a brand ambassador in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include delivering world-class service with empathy, developing product knowledge, and supporting merchandising and inventory tasks while maintaining safety and a positive team vibe.

Qualifications

• Genuine customer focus and ability to build relationships.
• Deliver world-class service through empathy and listening.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of Orvis products to advise authentically.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to leverage omnichannel assets.
• Current computer skills and willingness to learn business programs.
• Comfort with ambiguity, sound judgment and problem solving.
• Creativity and merchandising sense is a plus.
• Maintain store presentation and restock between customers.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle merchandise.
