Job summary

Rural King is seeking an Outside Recovery Associate to support outdoor merchandising and customer service at our Effingham location. You will help customers load purchases into their vehicles, price outdoor items, and keep exterior areas clean and inviting for shoppers.

The role requires the ability to operate store equipment, assist with load-outs, and maintain a consistent outdoor display while delivering friendly, proactive service aligned with Rural King values.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfort with operating retail equipment and in-store technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by loading purchases into vehicles.
• Gather signatures for load-out tickets to confirm transactions.
• Perform load-outs from store to vehicle ensuring safe loading.
• Maintain outdoor presentation per Outdoor Merchandising Guide.
• Ensure accurate pricing for customer convenience.
