Job summary

Rural King is seeking an Outside Recovery Associate to help customers in our outdoor merchandising area, assisting with loading purchases into vehicles and maintaining a welcoming exterior.

You will price and zone outdoor merchandise, unload deliveries, stock shopping carts, answer inquiries, and keep entry areas tidy while upholding Rural King's values. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to operate basic store equipment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication to convey instructions clearly.

• Ability to operate store equipment and computer systems.
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers in loading their purchases into their vehicles.
• Collect customer signatures for load out tickets to confirm successful transactions.
• Perform “load outs” for customers from the store to their vehicles, ensuring safe loading.
• Adhere to the Outdoor Merchandising Guide to maintain exterior presentation.
• Ensure accurate pricing of products for customer convenience.
• Keep the parking lot, corral, and designated areas clean and well-maintained.
• Zone outside merchandising spaces to maintain an orderly display.
• Use standard office equipment and retail tools in daily tasks.
• Participate in cross-training for flexibility in departments and responsibilities.
• Engage in training programs and webinars to stay current on developments.
• Provide friendly, proactive internal and external support to customers and colleagues.
