Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Sales Manager to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team in the decking and outdoor living industry. This hands-on leader will drive revenue growth and refine processes while strengthening relationships with homeowners, contractors, and referral partners from initial consultation through project completion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a senior sales role.
• Experience in decking, outdoor living, or home improvement preferred.
• History of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong coaching, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to use CRM, manage a sales pipeline, and analyze activity.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and hold the sales team accountable for meeting and exceeding sales goals.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor new sales representatives.
• Develop strategies to increase market share and close rates.
• Review pipeline activity, follow-up, conversion rates, and KPIs.
• Conduct ride-alongs, meetings, and coaching conversations.
• Support reps with estimating, presentations, objections, and deal strategy.
• Build relationships with homeowners, contractors, and partners.
• Ensure clear communication and professional service throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with operations, design, and project management for a seamless experience.
• Prepare forecasts and performance reports for leadership.
• Stay informed on local market conditions and industry trends.
