Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Landscaper I in Naples, FL to support landscape maintenance across commercial properties. You will perform basic tasks under supervision and help operate commercial landscaping equipment while caring for plant material.

You will work outdoors in varying conditions and contribute to a safe, efficient crew. The role requires reliability, physical stamina, and familiarity with basic horticultural practices.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Enthusiastic and dependable.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, stick edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers and trim/edge with edger/trimmer; operate a blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees as needed.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger/line trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
• Pick up trash and blow leaves onto turf before mowing.
• Mulch leaves and organic matter when mowing.
• Weeding by hand or with a hoe.
• Perform basic maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Remove trash, dead plants, and suckers.
• Maintain a polite, friendly demeanor with guests and customers.
• Report unsafe conditions to Crew Leader or Production Manager.
