Job summary

BrightView Landscapes seeks a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance for industrial, commercial, and public properties. You will perform basic tasks under supervision, operate commercial equipment, and assist with plant material care.

Key duties include mowing, trimming, pruning, bed maintenance, and safe operation of tools while keeping the surroundings clean and safe for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Enthusiastic and dependable.
• Ability to safely work with landscape equipment.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (blower, edger, trimmer, mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers, trim and edge with gas tools, operate a blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to maintain shape and health.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
• Report unsafe conditions to Crew Leader; maintain outdoor cleanliness.
• Maintain a polite, responsive demeanor with guests and customers.
