Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Landscaper I to provide landscape maintenance support for a variety of properties. The role involves performing basic landscaping tasks under supervision and assisting with the safe operation of commercial-grade equipment.

You will help maintain plant materials and landscape features, with duties including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and trash removal. Candidates should be 18+, dependable, and capable of working outdoors in various conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Enthusiastic and dependable.
• Ability to safely operate landscape equipment such as mowers, trimmers and blowers.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, stick edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers and trim/edge with gas-powered tools.
• Prune shrubs and low trees as needed.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along various areas.
• Report unsafe conditions to Crew Leader.
