Job summary

Park Center Inc. is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain outdoor spaces across 3 commercial and 26+ residential properties. You will join the Maintenance team and work with the Regional Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to ensure welcoming environments for members, residents, staff and visitors.

The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness and curb appeal. The position requires a HS diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate groundskeeping equipment outdoors, with physical

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license and ability to drive to multiple locations.
• Proven groundskeeping or landscaping experience, preferably in a non-profit or similar setting.
• Knowledge of horticulture, plant care and landscaping techniques.
• Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment safely and effectively.
• Good physical condition with ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors.
• Eager to learn and provide good customer service.
• Commitment to the org mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Mow, water, mulch, prune, fertilize, weed and trim shrubs/trees to keep grounds tidy and attractive.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping walkways and removing litter.
• Monitor plant health and address diseases or pests.
• Apply snow/ice melt products or perform snow removal as needed.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, irrigation).
• Inspect and repair outdoor structures, fences and benches as needed.
• Keep records of maintenance activities, inventory and supplies.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers for events and tasks.
• Report major maintenance issues to the Regional Property Manager.
