Job summary

Planned Companies is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain exterior grounds and common outdoor areas. The role involves routine landscaping, debris removal, and reporting safety concerns to ensure a safe, attractive community for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping or property maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of landscaping equipment and basic horticultural practices.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, walking and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to property appearance.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to follow directions and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of exterior grounds, walkways, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Perform routine landscaping duties such as mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, weeding, and watering.
• Remove litter and debris from the property regularly.
• Maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, and other landscaping features.
• Assist with seasonal property maintenance including snow removal and storm cleanup as needed.
• Inspect grounds and report safety hazards or maintenance concerns to management.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools safely.
• Clean and maintain outdoor amenities like playgrounds, patios, courtyards, dog areas, and recreation spaces.
• Assist with beautification projects and landscaping improvements.
• Support maintenance staff with exterior-related tasks and special projects.
