Job summary

Arcan Capital is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain exterior spaces and assist with light maintenance. You will keep common areas clean, manage debris, and support apartment turnovers while upholding a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

The role requires physical work, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset. High school diploma and 1–3 years in groundskeeping or maintenance are preferred. Position is on-site with potential driving needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of groundskeeping or maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of painting, landscaping, and apartment maintenance.
• Experience in the apartment or property management industry preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of community grounds, breezeways, and amenities.
• Collect and dispose of daily trash and debris; clean and empty waste containers.
• Assist with turning vacant apartments, including light cleaning and removal of items.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as painting, light fixture replacement, and minor repairs.
• Operate blowers, pressure washers, and landscaping tools to maintain outdoor areas.
• Report safety concerns or repair needs to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
