Job summary

Radius Recycling, Inc. seeks a General Laborer I to join the production team in an outdoor auto salvage setting. You will help produce core and scrap parts, assist customers, and ensure operations run safely and efficiently while upholding company policies.

The role requires working weekends/holidays, following safety procedures, and handling automotive fluids and components in prescribed ways. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, and PTO starting from your first check.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including safety messages and hazard communications.
• Ability to work required hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove fluids, batteries, and designated materials per prescribed procedures.
• Position vehicles on wheel stands to provide customers access to sellable parts and tidy the area after completion.
• Dismantle engines and transmissions and harvest core materials as directed.
• Operate equipment like a tire machine and prepare rims for shipment.
• Assist customers in a courteous and professional manner and maintain logs and site safety.
