Job summary

Radius Recycling, Inc. is seeking a General Laborer I to join the production team in an outdoor auto salvage yard environment.

You will safely handling vehicles to produce core and scrap products, support customer access to parts, and uphold environmental compliance while following all safety procedures. The role requires working outside in varying weather, weekends and peak sale days, and daily adherence to PPE and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written safety instructions, labels, and hazard communications.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times and promote safety culture; wear PPE as required.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain professional standards.
• Safely handle fluids, batteries, and materials per procedures.
• Position vehicles for safe customer access to sellable parts and restore area after tasks.
• Operate tire machine to separate tires, sort by category, and prepare rims for shipment.
• Assist customers courteously and complete regulatory logs and shipment preparation.
