Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Forklift Operator to work in a rugged 50+ acre outdoor environment, spanning both paved and unpaved areas. The role requires operating a forklift in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and includes handling diverse loading/unloading tasks and shipping documentation.

Qualifications include 2 years’ forklift experience in outdoor yards, the ability to read/write English, and successful completion of internal forklift certification training.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years' experience operating a 5,000 lb forklift in outdoor yard environments.
• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment.
• Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures.
• Safely load product onto and unload product from flatbeds and box trailers.
• Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation by auditing, recording and interpreting shipping documentation, weights & measures, labels and production schedules.
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
