Team UES is seeking a Field Technician I to perform field and laboratory testing of construction materials, including concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregate. You will collect samples, document results, and support projects from commercial buildings to infrastructure while working outdoors with a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (0–3 years is preferred), a valid driver's license, and an interest in training and certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or coursework in construction, engineering, geology, or related field is a plus.
• 0-3 years of experience in a field-based, outdoor, or physically demanding role preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; ability to operate company‑assigned vehicles safely.
• Industry certifications such as ACI Level 1 Concrete Testing, or ability to obtain within a specified time period.
• Commitment to workplace safety, following OSHA standards and PPE.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Field Data Collection (FDC) software.

Responsabilités

• Perform field and laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials.
• Inspect construction sites and collect samples to verify quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
• Work alongside experienced technicians, engineers, and project managers on a variety of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
• Accurately document test results, observations, and site conditions using industry-standard procedures and reporting tools.
• Operate, maintain, and care for testing equipment and company‑provided tools.
• Communicate project updates and testing results with team members, contractors, and clients.
• Build technical knowledge through hands‑on training, certifications, and mentorship from industry professionals.
• Support projects that help strengthen communities through safe, reliable, and high‑quality construction.
