Job summary

MiniMed seeks a Builder Product Manager, AI & Data Science to own the last mile from problem framing to validated outcomes. This hybrid role bases in Northridge, CA or Atlanta, GA, collaborating across Commercial, Marketing, Manufacturing & Quality, and Support to deliver measurable business value.

You’ll be evaluated by outcomes, not just model delivery. The role requires 4+ years in data/analytics product management or an advanced degree with 2+ years, plus experience with AI/ML initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in data/analytics PM or related role, or advanced degree with 2+ years
• Experience delivering AI/ML or analytics initiatives with measurable business value
• Experience embedding with a business unit or leading a cross-functional pod/squad as an outcome-owning product owner
• Familiarity with modern AI product management: dual product-and-model metrics, evaluation harnesses, and A/B/online validation of model value
• Experience in regulated industries and comfort with HIPAA, data governance, and audit constraints
• Strong technical fluency in AI/ML and ability to discuss problem framing, feature/data-source selection, model evaluation, and modern agent tooling
• Proven ability to influence without authority across business and technical stakeholders
• Structured problem-framing toolkit and strong executive communication / storytelling skills

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AI/DS initiatives from framing to ROI
• Translate business asks into sharply framed, solvable problems
• Lead data-source ideation and improve model signals
• Coordinate stakeholders, data scientists, and data engineers
• Validate models against business KPIs and communicate value
• Lead with influence in a cross-functional pod; no direct reports
• Apply responsible AI, privacy, and audit practices in regulated env
