Job summary
Milliman MedInsight seeks a Product Strategist to drive the development and commercialization of healthcare data, workflow, and AI-enabled decision-support products. You will bridge data products, tech partners, and downstream lines, turning market needs into actionable strategies and scalable solutions.
You will incubate opportunities, align stakeholders, and support partnerships with Databricks and cloud providers, shaping roadmaps and go-to-market plans across payer, provider, and clinical
Qualifications
- 5+ years in product management or strategy, preferably in enterprise software or healthcare data.
- Experience with clinical/pharmacy data, APIs, interoperability, and FHIR preferred.
- Ability to build business cases, monetization models, and GTM strategies for data assets.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle, platforms, and business planning.
- Collaborates with cloud providers to execute joint tech strategies and co-innovation.
- Familiar with AI/ML and workflow automation to enhance research and productivity.
- Proficient in SQL, BI, and analytics to support strategy and PoCs.
- Experience with external data partnerships and vendor integrations.
Responsibilities
- Develop business cases, product definitions, and concept memos for opportunities.
- Collaborate across payer, provider, clinical, GM, and engineering teams.
- Document capabilities, dependencies, and priorities for roadmaps.
- Support strategic partnerships and joint data initiatives with tech partners.
- Identify where software partnerships drive go-to-market and differentiation.
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to inform strategy.
- Support onboarding of external data assets and partnerships.
- Drive PoC design and evaluation with partners to de-risk initiatives.
- Provide SME support for training, pre-sales, and commercialization.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams with governance and compliance.
