Job summary

Covetrus in Lexington, KY is seeking an Operations Supervisor - Outbound to lead the distribution center's outbound activities, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment and shipping that meets customer expectations.

This role emphasizes collaboration with the Outbound Manager, process improvement for picking, packing, and shipping, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. A bachelor's degree and warehouse leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preference for Operations/Logistics or related field
• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse or production environments
• Minimum three years in a leadership role in a warehouse or production setting
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft and computer skills; distribution processes knowledge required
• Green belt or Lean Six Sigma familiarity preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct outbound distribution activities with the Outbound Manager to meet shipping requirements
• Gather feedback on customer expectations, implement improvements
• Optimize picking, packing, and shipping processes while maintaining DC compliance
• Serve as main contact for outbound shipments; coordinate with Sales, Regulatory and QA
• Provide daily status updates and action planning to the Outbound Manager
