Job summary

The SYGMA Network in Charlotte, NC is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for hand-building pallets and loading product onto trailers following company standards. You will use pallet jacks, read pick sheets, and move items to designated zones.

You will maintain food safety and housekeeping, inspect for damage, operate forklifts and scanners, and complete time-tracking paperwork. The role requires safety awareness, accurate labeling, and dependable attendance with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of safe lifting procedures and food safety guidelines.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English for safety and operations.

Responsibilities

• Reads pick sheets and travels to proper warehouse locations using a pallet jack.
• Picks product type and quantity, labels products, and places on a pallet for loading onto trucks.
• Handles products and builds pallets per food safety procedures; inspects for damages.
• Maintains a clean and safe warehouse; handles spills and disposes of trash/recycling properly.
• Communicates issues to management (out-of-stocks, safety, product concerns).
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners safely; reports equipment issues.
• Completes paperwork and uses a wearable computer to track time spent on tasks.
• Maintains regular attendance; may work overtime to meet workload demands.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
