Job summary

The SYGMA Network in Oregon is seeking a warehouse associate to hand-build pallets of product and load them onto trailers per company standards. You will read pick sheets, travel to locations with a pallet jack, label products, and verify quantities for loading.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree.
• 6 months of warehouse experience preferred; or equivalent work experience in place of a degree.
• Forklift and pallet jack certification or license.

Responsibilities

• Reads pick sheets and travels to proper warehouse locations using a pallet jack.
• Picks proper product type and quantity, labels products, and loads pallets on trucks.
• Handles products and builds pallets according to food safety procedures.
• Maintains a clean and safe warehouse, reports safety or quality issues.
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners safely and records time with wearable computer.
• Works overtime as needed to meet workload demands.
