Job summary

The SYGMA Network in Columbus, OH is seeking a warehouse associate to hand-build pallets of product and load them onto trailers following company and customer standards. You will read pick sheets, travel to locations with a pallet jack, and ensure accurate, safe loading.

Responsibilities include pallet building, labeling, maintaining food safety practices, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and completing paperwork with time tracking devices. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months of warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift and pallet jack certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reads pick sheets and travels to warehouse locations using a pallet jack.
• Picks product type and quantity, labels products, places on a pallet and loads onto trucks per standards.
• Handles products and builds pallets following food safety procedures.
• Keeps warehouse clean and safe; handles spills and disposes of trash properly.
