• Quality control: uphold high standards for product quality and accuracy in staging and shipping; implement QC processes to minimize errors.
• Performance monitoring: define and track KPIs for outbound operations and implement improvements.
• Vendor and carrier coordination: manage relationships with vendors and carriers; coordinate outbound shipments and timely delivery.
• Continuous improvement: identify process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Customer service: collaborate with other departments to ensure timely processing of orders and resolve outbound issues.

The Outbound Warehouse Manager (Onsite) oversees and manages all outbound warehouse operations, ensuring the effective picking, packing, and shipping of outgoing products. This role involves maintaining order accuracy, ensuring workplace safety, and optimizing outbound logistics processes. The Outbound Warehouse Manager will focus on improving productivity, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction through effective management of outbound activities.

What you will do

• Outbound Operations: Oversee the efficient and accurate shipment of outbound orders. Ensure proper staging, inspection, and documentation of outgoing goods.
• Inventory Management: Ensure accurate and timely recording of outbound inventory. Implement and maintain inventory control systems to track and manage inventory levels.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards for product quality and accuracy in the staging and shipping processes. Implement quality control processes to minimize errors and discrepancies.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for outbound warehouse operations. Analyze performance data and implement improvements as needed.
• Vendor and Carrier Coordination: Manage relationships with vendors and carriers. Coordinate outbound shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Customer Service: Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of outgoing orders. Address and resolve issues related to outbound warehouse operations including but not limited to shipping confirmations.

What you need

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
• 8 years of logistics experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of people leadership
• Certifications in warehouse management or logistics (e.g., Certified Warehouse Manager, Certified Supply Chain Professional) are a plus.

USN: $102,600 - $171,000 USD Annual Travel Percentage: 10%

Work Flexibility Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
