Job summary

Stryker in Sarasota, FL is seeking a transportation/inventory associate responsible for accurate inventory tracking, loading and unloading, route planning, and maintaining vehicle safety and maintenance records. This onsite role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, flexible hours, and participation in on-call rotation.

You will read maps, prepare merchandise for transport to customer sites, and address field customer concerns with the Branch team while upholding quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: Possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictions; Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs; Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed; Participate with On-call rotation.
• Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma/GED; 1+ related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurate inventory tracking and cycle counting; optimize inventory utilization.
• Arrange merchandise for transport to delivery and customer locations.
• Read maps and route configurations.
• Perform safety inspections in transportation setting.
• Load/unload/stack containers; check sterility and implants/instruments.
• Schedule maintenance on company delivery vehicle and maintain records.
• Inform supervisor when repairs or extensive maintenance are required.
• Address field customer complaints and communicate with Branch team.

Work Flexibility: Onsite Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:30am to 6pm Mandatory overtime based on business needs. On-call responsibilities.

What you will do

• Responsible for accurate inventory tracking and record keeping, warehouse inventory cycle counting and optimizing inventory utilization
• Arrange merchandise for transport (on delivery and return) and at customer locations
• Read maps and route configuration
• Perform safety inspections in transportation setting
• Load, unload, or stack containers, materials, or products while checking for sterility, missing/broken implants & instruments
• Perform and/or schedule preventative and regular minor maintenance on company delivery vehicle, (fuel, fluid levels, tires, etc.), and keeps accurate maintenance records
• Advise supervisor when repairs or extensive maintenance are required for the company vehicle
• Field customer complaints, address and communicate as necessary to Branch team members

What you need
