Job summary

Expeditors in Ellenwood, GA is seeking a Logistics/ Freight Coordinator to ensure smooth freight flow, enter data accurately, and manage tracking and billing processes. You will coordinate with customers and suppliers to meet service standards and compliance requirements.

The role emphasizes timely communication, KPI adherence, and maintaining updated procedures. Familiarity with ocean docs and hazardous materials is a plus, with strong Excel/Word skills and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1 year of related experience.
• Knowledge of domestic transportation industry.
• Understanding of ocean documentation process is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and clear, concise communication.
• Pro‑active, well organized with good time management.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Hazardous Materials certification preferred.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal.
• Typing speed of 45 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.
• Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting.
• Accurate and timely client and vendor billing.
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable.
• Interact with customers in arranging shipments to meet service standards.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Meet compliance at all times.
• Respond promptly to emails and requests.
• Meet KPI standards per Company policy.
• Understand customer procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs.
