Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Trade Compliance Coordinator (Onsite) in Ellenwood, GA to support the movement of goods worldwide. The role interfaces with customers, freight forwarders, and customs, ensuring compliance and timely imports/exports. You will handle document review, restrictions guidance, and project support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
• 1–3 years related experience in customs compliance operations preferred.
• Understanding of international trade and customs regulations, incoterms and impacts to supply chain.
• Knowledge of air and ocean transport logistics processes.
• Excellent customer service skills and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and provide excellent customer service, understanding their needs and goals.
• Identify and address issues that may impact customer satisfaction and work on solutions to improve the overall customer experience.
• Monitor and manage ticketing system for customs compliance requests and resolve quickly.
• Monitor compliance to ensure adherence to laws, regulations and policies.
• Verify and review shipping documents for import/export compliance and approvals.
• Advise customers on import/export restrictions and regulatory matters.
• Track operational metrics and meet SLAs.
• Identify gaps and suggest process improvements.
