Job summary

Expeditors in Elkridge, MD is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to ensure smooth and timely freight flows and accurate data entry in our systems. You will track and trace Transcon files, help with billing, and coordinate shipments to meet service standards.

The role requires 6 months to 1 year of related experience, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication. Fluency in English is essential; Hazardous Materials cert is a plus. Hours are 8AM to 5PM.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Understanding of ocean documentation is a plus.
• Fluent in English and proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Enter data accurately into operational systems.
• Track and trace Transcon files and reporting.
• Handle client and vendor billing accurately and promptly.
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable.
• Coordinate shipments with customers to meet service standards.
• Support suppliers and maintain strong relationships.
• Adhere to company policies and KPI targets.
• Understand customer procedures and maintain updated internal SOPs.
