Job summary

ITA Group in Des Moines, IA seeks a Shipping Services Manager to oversee all outbound shipments from our headquarters and coordinate RIS² operations with Receiving & Inventory. You will manage shipping data files, ensure compliance with regulations, track shipments and allocate costs to programs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project owners, maintaining carrier relationships (USPS, UPS, FedEx) and optimizing shipping workflows to meet deadlines and budgets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a service-related, mailroom, shipping, logistics or related environment.
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities; respond to client needs promptly.
• Effective communication, negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all outbound shipments from ITA Group headquarters.
• Coordinate RIS² operations with Receiving & Inventory Manager.
• Manage shipping data files and software; ensure shipments meet regulations and deadlines.
• Track shipments and bill costs back to appropriate programs and cost centers.
• Help ensure shipping practices comply with laws and operational requirements.
