Job summary

ITA Group, located in West Des Moines, IA, seeks a Receiving & Inventory Manager to oversee incoming shipments and inventory control. The role supports inbound and third-party shipments, ensures receivables are tracked and notifications reach ordering teams, and enforces compliance with logistics laws.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in customer service and 2–3 years in inventory management and shipping logistics, with strong computer and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Three years customer service experience in a service-related industry.
• Two to three years of experience in inventory management and logistics of shipping products domestic and global.
• Strong Computer skills including with MS Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Strong working knowledge of mail machines, UPS computer and Federal Express software.
• Meet IATA certification training requirements for shipping Lithium Metal and Lithium Ion Batteries.
• Strong knowledge of postal, UPS and Federal Express regulations.
• Strong working knowledge of Domestic and International shipping regulations as they pertain to the Department of Commerce import and export of goods.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with others in a team situation.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving and inventory of all incoming shipments.
• Coordinates inbound and third-party shipments.
• Ensures receivables are tracked and notifications are managed to ordering teams.
• Adheres to laws guiding logistics operations.
