Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 4 years' experience or an equivalent combination.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Material Handling Equipment experience: Pallet Jack, Forklift, Hand Truck, Reach Truck.
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of following instructions and responding to management direction.

Responsibilities

• Review shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, to prioritize shipments and determine shipping methods.
• Assist in supervising outbound shipping activities for accuracy and completeness.
• Help determine space requirements and optimal positioning of shipments in trucks.
• Inspect loading operations and material handling equipment for defects.
• Prepare bills of lading and maintain records of unfilled orders.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and professionally.
• Support training of new associates and collect daily performance metrics.
