Job summary

WAI GLOBAL is seeking an experienced warehouse associate to support the Outbound Supervisor in coordinating daily activities of associates engaged in verification, record keeping, allocation, and picking operations. You will help ensure outgoing shipments meet business requirements and daily targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 4 years’ experience or an equivalent combination.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Capable of reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Strong problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, and orders to prioritize shipments and assign work.
• Assist in supervising outbound shipping activities to ensure accuracy and proper condition of shipments.
• Help determine space requirements and optimal positioning of shipments in trucks.
• Inspect loading operations for adherence to shipping specifications and inspect equipment for defects.
• Maintain records of unfilled orders and prepare bills of lading.
• Support training of new associates and collect daily performance metrics.
