Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to function in environmental conditions and narrow aisles or passageways.

• Open availability; flexible and able to work various shifts and overtime.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire shipping process for picked and ready-to-pack orders.
• Assist the department supervisor with daily planning and guide direct staff members to complete Internet shipping mandates efficiently and timely.
• Handle department demands, expectations, deadlines, administrative duties, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
• Ensure team members follow proper procedures and enforce good safety practices.
• Achieve department productivity and quality goals.
• Assist with training and follow-up of new team members.
• Maintain excellent cross-functional and interdepartmental communication.
• Direct and oversee Internet picking, sorting, packing, and processing to meet customer deadlines.
• Assist picking supervisors in navigating and prioritizing orders.
• Frequently monitor systems and emails to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Keep work areas clean and clear of safety hazards.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
