Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 4 years’ experience or an equivalent combination.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Experience operating material handling equipment (pallet jack, forklift, hand truck, reach truck).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions, work in a team, and communicate effectively.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Review shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices and orders to prioritize shipments.
• Assist in supervising outbound shipping activities for accuracy and timeliness.
• Determine space requirements and optimal positioning of shipments in trucks.
• Inspect loading operations and material handling equipment for safety.
• Maintain records of unfilled orders and prepare bills of lading.
• Support training of new associates and collect daily performance metrics.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Collaborate with team to improve productivity, cross-training, and workflow.
• Adhere to 5S principles and safety protocols.
