Job summary

Crane Solutions LLC is seeking an Outbound Specialist, Ground to manage the origin half of the shipment file—from booking acceptance to confirmed departure. You will coordinate TMF and Descartes Aljex, apply cost and revenue, generate the BOL, secure pickups, and ensure visibility through Tive and MacroPoint.

Responsibilities include extracting and reconciling data across systems, managing pre-alerts, and handing off to Inbound Specialists at origin departure.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with transportation management systems; TMF and Descartes Aljex preferred.
• Experience with US domestic ground freight modes (FTL, LTL, intermodal).
• Auditing documents against BOL and POD to resolve discrepancies.
• Comfort with cost and revenue entry and reconciliation across two systems.

Responsibilities

• Accept TMF bookings, build TMF file, and trigger EDI to Descartes Aljex.
• Create the job in TMF with Crane Solutions as carrier and align TMF with Aljex booking data.
• Upload signed BOL to Aljex and TMF; ensure asset counts match.
• Monitor capacity planner queue and escalate loads risking pickup window.
• Update references and milestones across TMF and Aljex for origin departure.
