Job summary

Crane Solutions in Houston is seeking an Outbound Specialist who manages ground shipments from acceptance to departure. You will build and reconcile shipment files in TMF and Descartes Aljex, apply cost and revenue, generate BOLs, and manage pickups and pre-alerts for in-transit visibility.

The role requires strong attention to detail and proactive escalation of issues. Experience with e2open TMF, Descartes Aljex, and telematics platforms is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with real-time visibility and telematics platforms (MacroPoint, Tive).
• Familiarity with dock scheduling tools (Open Dock).
• Understanding of freight billing workflows and complete, billable files.
• Knowledge of cargo security, chain-of-custody, and security-vetted carrier programs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain shipment files in TMF and Descartes Aljex with accurate cost/revenue.
• Generate and verify bills of lading and ensure data parity between TMF and Aljex.
• Coordinate carrier pickup, pre-alerts, and in-transit visibility across systems.
• Audit documents and escalate scheduling or transportation exceptions promptly.
• Handoff completed shipments to inbound specialists at origin departure.
