Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC seeks an Outbound Specialist, Ground to own the origin half of the shipment file from booking acceptance through departure. You will build the shipment in TMF and Descartes Aljex, apply cost and revenue, generate the bill of lading, and secure pickup appointments while ensuring data parity across systems.

You will manage in-transit visibility using Tive and MacroPoint, audit documents, escalate exceptions, and hand off to the Inbound Specialist at origin departure.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in transportation operations or logistics.
• Hands-ons with TMF and Descartes Aljex preferred.
• Knowledge of US domestic ground freight modes (FTL, LTL, intermodal).
• Experience auditing documents and reconciling billing across systems.
• Strong communication and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Accept the TMF booking and verify data before building the file.
• Create the job in TMF, add Crane Solutions as carrier, trigger EDI to Aljex.
• Add cost and revenue in TMF and generate the BOL.
• Accept EDI booking in Aljex, upload BOL, add revenue so both systems align.
• Assign shipment to Capacity Planning and monitor queue for carrier confirmation.
• Maintain alignment of milestones across TMF and Aljex; handoff to inbound team.
