Position Overview
Wind River is a global leader in delivering software for mission-critical intelligent systems. We are seeking a Strategic Outbound Sales Development Representative to join our team in various US locations including Cupertino, Walnut Creek, San Diego, Boston, and Detroit.
Responsibilities
- Identify prospects' business priorities and challenges within high-intent accounts, uncover obstacles, and pinpoint new business opportunities.
- Research key accounts and stakeholders, use sales engagement tools for follow-up, and set up discovery meetings.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Wind River solutions, industry trends, and competitors.
- Learn and understand enterprise IT cloud infrastructure, telecom, automotive, or aerospace industry challenges to align solutions.
- Achieve or exceed performance goals and pipeline revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Proven ability in cold calling, prospecting, and engaging decision-makers to meet quotas.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical solutions to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and sales engagement platforms.
- Research skills for tailored outreach addressing specific pain points.
- Resilience, self-motivation, collaboration, and strong time management skills.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 1-3 years in B2B sales, preferably in software or technology sectors.
- Familiarity with SaaS, cloud-native platforms, or embedded systems solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; knowledge of Linux, edge computing, or IoT is a plus.

Compensation
Base salary range: $100K-$120K OTE, with additional benefits as per company policies.
