At Surgimate, we are an enterprise SaaS company on a mission to change how healthcare practices coordinate the most important part of their business - surgery.
We're looking for a scrappy and experienced hunter-someone who knows the device world, understands the players, and is ready to trade scrubs and spreadsheets for SaaS. Whether you've been a junior/associate device rep grinding it out in the OR, or a customer service rep for a device manufacturer who knows the chaos of inventory management firsthand-this role is built for you.
You'll hit the ground running with context, credibility, and curiosity-able to confidently connect with stakeholders at surgical practices, manufacturers, and distributors. This isn't about dialing blind. It's about spotting patterns, starting smart conversations, and opening the right doors.
You'll work closely with Sales and Marketing to identify the right targets, execute tailored outreach, and book qualified meetings that directly impact our pipeline and growth.
The SDR, ImplantBase will report to the VP of Marketing. This role is fully remote within the US and has some expected travel for company and industry events, up to X%. The compensation OTE for this position is $110,000 per year including performance-based incentives.
Why This Role Is Different
We're not looking for SaaS lifers. We're looking for people who've lived the chaos of surgical sales or supported those who have. If you've ever packed a tray at midnight, chased down missing inventory, or juggled backorders while trying to hit quota-you get it.
You're not afraid to cold call-but your real strength is connecting with others because you've walked in their shoes. This is your chance to bring that experience into a high-growth tech company that's solving the very problems you've lived.
What you'll do:
- Drive outbound outreach to surgical practices, manufacturers, and distributors using phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Set qualified meetings for our Account Executives by surfacing real problems and teeing up real solutions
- Leverage your industry knowledge to ask smart questions and spark enterprise-level conversations
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging and prioritize target accounts
- Keep Salesforce organized with accurate activity and lead notes
- Share insights with the team to help evolve positioning and outreach strategy
About you:- Experience in medical device sales, customer service, or supply chain support-preferably in orthopedics, spine, trauma, or similar verticals
- Understanding of the rep-manufacturer dynamic and the challenges of surgical inventory
- Strong communication skills-you can navigate a cold call or a complex workflow conversation with ease
- Curiosity about SaaS, eagerness to learn the tech, and motivation to grow in a startup environment
- Bonus: Experience working with reps, schedulers, hospitals, or OR staff
Why Join Now?- Join a team that values industry expertise over tech jargon
- Get trained in SaaS while bringing your real-world insights to the table
- Help build the go-to platform that reps and manufacturers actually want to use
- Enjoy remote flexibility, a fast-moving culture, and a clear path to growth
