About the Role

dataplor, a global leader in point-of-interest (POI) and geospatial data, is looking for highly motivated and ambitious Outbound SDRs to join our growing sales team. As an SDR at dataplor, you’ll play a critical role in generating qualified opportunities for our Account Executives, contributing to the company’s growth across many industries. This is a fast-paced, results-driven role, perfect for individuals looking to build their sales career in the start-up data solutions space.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Outbound Prospecting: Proactively identify and contact potential clients through cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach to generate interest in dataplor’s data solutions.
  2. Lead Qualification: Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand their business challenges, qualify leads, and determine fit for dataplor’s offerings.
  3. Pipeline Management: Maintain detailed records of outreach efforts, activities, and results in Salesforce or other CRM tools to ensure a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with AEs and the SDR Manager to optimize handoff processes, refine messaging, and improve outreach strategies.
  5. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and target client segments to identify new opportunities for dataplor.
  6. Metrics-Driven Performance: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs for outreach, meetings booked, and qualified evaluations generated.
What We’re Looking For:
  1. Drive and Resilience: A self-starter with the ability to stay motivated and persevere in a high-volume outbound sales environment.
  2. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages and build rapport with prospects.
  3. Curiosity and Learning: A strong desire to understand dataplor’s technical products, target industries, and client use cases.
  4. Experience: 1+ years in an outbound sales or SDR role (preferred), including experience in cold calling and emailing. GIS or Data Background (strongly preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  5. Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, start-up, remote work environment, with a strong ability to manage time and prioritize effectively.
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Familiarity with the geospatial, point-of-interest, or data-as-a-service.
  • Experience selling data solutions or working in a SaaS startup environment.
