Job summary

Arvato in Louisville, KY is looking for an Outbound Supervisor for the 2nd shift (3 pm–11:30 pm). You will supervise the Pick/Pack/Ship operation, manage labor resources, and ensure on-time order completion while coordinating with Wave Planning.

The role requires 3 years of supervisory experience and 3 years in a WMS environment; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. You will hire and train staff, monitor KPI performance, and ensure procedures for current and new customers are followed.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Supervisory experience or equivalent work experience.
• A bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 3 years in a WMS environment.
• Experience with inventory research.

Responsibilities

• Supervise labor and equipment of the Pick/Pack/Ship operation.
• Ensure on-time completion and maintain the quality of orders to meet customer requirements.
• You will oversee direct shipping, pick, pack, and traffic.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees.
• Receiving of materials.
• Transferring of materials.
• Hire and ensure proper training of new employees for the picking, packing, and shipping departments.
• Ensure proper procedures are adhered to and up to date for the control tower for current and new customers.
• Performance management of all employees (KPI’s).
• Document, update, and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment levels for the department.
• Monitor and adhere to customer requests and vendor-specific shipping requirements.
• Update and maintain Kronos and Metrics in Excel, as it relates to WMS reporting.
• Monitor picking, packing, and shipping functions on the floor.
• Ensure that shift-end specific procedures with all shipping systems are completed, and floor end‑of‑shift close‑outs are followed.
