Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking an Outbound Specialist, Ground to manage the origin side of ground shipments in Houston. You will build the shipment file in TMF and Aljex, apply costs, generate BOLs, and coordinate pickups with visibility from open dock to handoff at origin.

The role requires experience with TMF/Aljex, strong data accuracy, and communication with carriers and internal teams. This is a full-time on-site position in Houston with growth opportunities within Crane’s

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in transportation operations or a related logistics role.
• Hands-on experience with transportation management systems, especially e2open TMF and Descartes Aljex.
• Familiarity with US domestic ground freight modes (FTL, LTL, intermodal).
• Strong documentation and data accuracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Booking intake and file build; verify data, assets, and references before file creation.
• Create TMF job, trigger EDI booking to Aljex, and ensure revenue in both systems.
• Coordinate appointments, pre-alerts, and shipment visibility via Tive/MacroPoint.
• Audit BOLs and piece counts; ensure clean handoff to Inbound Specialist.
• Maintain cross-system parity and escalate scheduling or carrier issues as needed.
