Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group in Columbus, GA is seeking a Shipping Clerk to coordinate outbound shipments, audit documents, and maintain accurate shipping records. You will work with operations, customer service and purchasing to ensure orders are documented and shipped on time.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years experience, good teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to use ERP and carrier systems. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Audit orders to ensure shipping quantities match picking documents.
• Coordinate with Plant Operations, Customer Service and Purchasing to resolve allocation discrepancies.
• Prepare bills of lading and other shipping documentation.
• Enter shipment data into the ERP system and carrier systems.
• Route drivers and track outbound freight to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain shipping stations and stock materials.
