Job summary
Tremco Construction Products Group (CPG) is seeking a Distribution Clerk to manage inbound/outbound shipments and dock activities at our Columbus, GA distribution center. You will verify documentation, handle discrepancies, and ensure accurate inventory updates while coordinating with transportation providers and internal teams.
Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in shipping/logistics, experience with WMS/ERP, and strong Excel skills.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
- 2+ years in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations or logistics support.
- Experience working with inventory systems, WMS or ERP systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data entry accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and dock activities.
- Verify receipts, packing slips, BOLs, and ASNs against POs.
- Enter transactions in WMS and ERP systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts.
- Prepare shipping documents and communicate schedules.
- Support distribution and customer service goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures.
