Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must pass a background check and an alcohol/drug test.
• Experience as Forklift Operator, Dock or Warehouse Worker is preferred.
• Forklift Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight onto and off equipment.
• Prepare, sweep, inspect and clean trailers before loading.
• Use safe lifting techniques and proper equipment to move freight.
• weigh and dimension shipments for correct classification and safe handling.
• Review freight bills, check manifests and hazardous material paperwork.
• Properly block and brace freight to prevent shifting during transport.
