Job summary

southeastern Freight Lines is seeking a PT Outbound Freight Handler to load and unload freight, prepare trailers, and ensure safe handling. You will weigh shipments, inspect for damage, and use appropriate equipment to move freight efficiently.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and the ability to pass a background check and drug test. Prior forklift/warehouse experience and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check and an alcohol/drug test.
• Experience as Forklift Operator, Dock/Warehouse Worker, or Material Handler preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight onto and off equipment.
• Prepare, sweep, inspect and clean trailers before loading.
• Use safe lifting techniques and proper equipment for loading.
• Weigh and dimension shipments for correct classification and handling.
