Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Distribution Operations Manager for the Memphis Distribution Center to lead outbound distribution, including pick, pack, and ship, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and on time. You will oversee multiple shifts, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across functions to support service and cost efficiency.

Successful candidate will use WMS/ERP insights to optimize productivity, quality, and safety, while coaching supervisors and frontline

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience leading supervisors, team leads, and frontline associates in distribution/warehousing.
• Experience overseeing high-volume workflows and meeting customer service requirements.
• Knowledge of WMS/ERP and distribution technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven decisions.
• Experience managing labor planning and performance indicators.

Responsibilities

• Lead outbound distribution ops across pick, pack, and ship, ensuring accurate and on-time shipping.
• Balance labor resources to meet demand and productivity goals while serving customer requirements.
• Provide leadership to supervisors and distribution associates, including coaching and performance management.
• Drive engagement and accountability through KPIs, onboarding, training, and continuous learning.
• Coordinate outbound transportation, manage carrier performance, and optimize freight costs.
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations and safety standards.
