Job summary

Arvato in Memphis seeks an Outbound Operations Manager to oversee daily production and distribution for the facility. You will lead front-end staff, ensure safety, quality, and on-time shipping, and drive continuous improvement across the operations.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and collaboration with customers and internal teams. SAP experience is preferred for process optimization and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Must possess ability to function in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment.
• Experience developing, motivating, and leading cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust processes to meet production schedules, due dates, priorities, shipping requirements, and handle peak volumes.
• Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality, while ensuring compliance with production, quality, reliability, and safety standards.
• Provide support and training on company policies to employees.
• Monitor time and attendance records of direct reports.
• Develop employees through performance reviews, ongoing training, and by managing the hiring process, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and performance counseling.
• Execute all business review preparation, responsible for all action logs and items resulting from business reviews.
• Serve as key communication link between operations and all customers.
• Create or use existing metrics to verify operation is under control.
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
• Follow and maintain 5S Program and guidelines.
• Any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment
