Job summary

OuterSignal, a fast-growing ecommerce customer intelligence platform, seeks a Business Development Representative to open doors at Shopify-level brands. You will research brands, identify decision-makers, and craft personalized outreach to set meetings for our Account Executives.

You’ll run multi-channel outreach, leverage our product data for door-opening insights, and own the qualification of meetings to hand off to AE. Remote-first environment with growth from BDR to AE.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in sales or business development.
• Experience with outbound outreach and cold calls.
• Familiarity with SaaS or ecommerce is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-directed with pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Build target lists by researching brands and decision-makers.
• Run multi-channel outbound programs including calls, email, LinkedIn.
• Use product data to open conversations with prospects.
• Qualify meetings and hand off to Account Executive.
• Manage whole account and re-engage when needed.
• Keep CRM accurate with accounts, contacts and touches.
• Contribute to the playbook as the team scales.
